What is Trezor Wallet®?

Trezor Wallet® is a hardware wallet family designed to keep your cryptocurrency private keys offline and protected from malware, phishing and remote attacks. The device signs transactions locally; only public data ever leaves the hardware. Pairing your device with the official Trezor Suite App creates a secure environment to manage balances, send/receive coins and update firmware.

Official starting point

Always start at the official URL: trezor.io/start. Download the verified Trezor Suite (desktop) or use the web interface as instructed on the page.

Key components

  • Trezor Hardware Wallet — the physical device that stores private keys.
  • Trezor Suite App / Trezor Suite Download — desktop interface for management and firmware updates.
  • Trezor Bridge / Trezor Bridge Download — optional helper that lets browsers communicate with the device.

Step-by-step setup

Connect the device, run the Suite or web app from trezor.io/start, follow on-screen instructions to initialize, choose a PIN, and write down the recovery seed phrase exactly as shown. Store the seed offline and never share it.

Troubleshooting common login issues

Encountering Trezor Login not working or Unable to login Trezor? Try:

  • Switch USB cable / port and try another computer.
  • Install or update Trezor Suite and Trezor Bridge.
  • Restart your browser or use the desktop Suite if the web app fails.
  • Temporarily disable interfering extensions or security software.

Account recovery & 2FA notes

If the device is lost/damaged, recover accounts using your recovery seed on a new Trezor® or compatible recovery tool. Trezor® relies on seed + PIN; "Trezor 2fa reset" usually concerns third-party services (exchanges) — follow those services' procedures for 2FA resets.

When you see errors

For Error Connecting Trezor Account or Trezor Suite App not Working, verify firmware, reinstall Suite/Bridge, and consult the official Trezor Help Center if hardware appears tampered or persistent faults occur.
